Trying to delete line-breaks on a mac

Was this post useful to you?

Find & replace works fine on a PC to find line breaks and replace them with values.

For example if the text looked like this:

It would be replaced with Apples|Oranges|Bananas|Pears

My understanding is you would press CTRL+J (code for line break) in find, and replace would be the value you want to replace the break with, in this instance a pipe "|"

On a Mac, CMD does what CTRL does on a PC, but CMD+J does nothing.

There is also no ALT key - so what would be the equivalent for a line break?

Thank you in advance...
