frontpage 2003 forms

Hi, I receive form mail via frontpage 2003 and recently I am only receiving it from 12am to about 6-7pm. Would this be on the server side that is stoping them from working the same time every evening and then working agian 5-6 hrs later after midnight? Im guessing this when they do their updates to their servers? Im not getting any kind of errors just no form mail coming through? Thank you, Eric

Your server could be throttling the mail queue. Who is your web host? And how many mails do you get on the front page form?

I use networksolutions. Honestly I have been with them for 7 years with no major problems. I have many, many forms and receive about 30 or more per day easy. I do notice the speed of the forms are super fast when I do not get them. Much slower when it is working. Can I slow it down or do they have to do this? Thank you.

It looks like the problem is not with your forms, but with Network Solutions' mail server. It could be a temporary problem.

I suggest you to contact Network Solutions and notify them; only they can fix it.

Thank you. I did contact them earlier today. Waiting for a reply. This has been going on for several days now. Its after midnight so now forms are working fine. Not sure how much business I lost during those 8 hrs though?

Hi, They just sent me this below. My form scripts aren't the problem? I am receiving form mail for 16 hrs out of the day? Not getting anywhere. Anything else i can do? Thanks, Eric

In order to resolve your issue with your form mail scripts, your Service Request needs to be escalated to another department. I have sent the issue to the correct department for resolution and you shall be notified as to the status within 24 to 48 hours. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

I guess you will have to wait until they revert back with a solution. Do let us know if they are able to fix the issue or not.

This was their new answer below. Cant believe it. They never even read that it works most of the day but does not for about 6hrs. You think they tested everything when it was not working? No they tested it when it was working. Anyone have any ideas what I should do next? I guess recontact them? Thanks, Eric

I am sorry to hear that you are having difficulties with your applications. We have tested your package and both ASPMail and CDO are sending email without issue at this time. Please note that if your scripts are sending to a third party email provider you may wish to check your spam filters.

Yeah, looks like he didn't even read your complete email. You should contact them again, preferably on phone.
