    wrong date on import

Sent to Citibank as a bug report:

Two transactions from my creditcard account were almost imported wrongly
into my Quicken 2002 software today. They came over {during one-step
update} as 2003 transactions, rather than 2004. I only caught this because
Quicken warned me that they were more than a year away. Please fix the OFX
    file constructions on your end.

    end of message to Citibank

    FirstUSA/BankOne Visa import went smoothly.

    Re: wrong date on import

Today, the transactions previously downloaded with the incorrect date were
downloaded again with the proper date. Of course, I had to manually delete
the new transactions, as I had already corrected the date on the prior
    download.

    That didn't happen to me.

I got a message back from Citibank. They stated that Citicards.com
provided the data, and that they knew that there were problems (yes,
problems PLURAL!) with the transfer of data between citicards.com and
citibank, and that "they" were working on it. No ETA yet. Citibank
advised to use citicards.com for better downloads. I do not like the
site that much, so I'll pass on that approach, and just double check the
data, as I do on every single downloaded transaction.

BTW, the citibank site allows for some neat examination of your data at
other financial institutions. This works very well for me with my
FirstUSA/BankOne creditcard and my INGdirect account (but no downloads
    that way).

    Re: wrong date on import

    Han,

Thanks for the update and additional info....very interesting. BTW, the
"corrected" data didn't appear until I did a one step update late this
afternoon (it wasn't there in the morning). Perhaps your message
    accomplished more than your realized!

    Thanks again,
    Colin
