What view am I in?

reposting here in hope someone may be able to advise please

Am I right in saying that it's impossible to tell what view you
are in, without going back into View>Current View and seeing which
entry has the checkmark against it?

The news groups have been flaky the last few days after being blasted by
SWEN.
You can easily see the view that you are in, depending on the version of
Outlook (which you neglected to state) by looking at the dropdown on the
Advanced toolbar. This dropdown gives you quick access to changing your
view without having to use the menu commands.
