Re: Text Wrap in Word 2002

    Hi Peter,

I have Word 2000, if I select the picture (so it has the sizing dots around
it) then right click it, I can then click Format Picture in the popup.

Re: Text Wrap in Word 2002

    Hi Peter,

Word 2002 hides those options that are used infrequently
but provides the means to expand the expand the menu.

However, you may insert a picture into your document.

Right click the picture and select Format Picture from the options.

This gives access to the text wrap feature, and more.

    Text Wrap in Word 2002

    Ken & Kevin:
Thanks for your replies, I have been able to get the wrap
format window OK, but the only wrapping styles that work
are the break in the text and "In front of text"
and "Behind text". I cannot get the "Square" or "Tight"
styles, each time they revert to the break option.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks.

Re: Text Wrap in Word 2002

    Hi Peter,

There are so many variables it is difficult to respond to the query.

Perhaps put a few paragraphs of text on a page then inset a picture. Try
different selections, i.e. select View on the menu bar, click Print Layout,
click Web Layout and click Normal. View how each effects the text/picture,
also move the picture around the page using "Square, Tight and etc".

    Hope this help's,
    Ken

Re: Text Wrap in Word 2002

    Hi Ken:
Thanks for the input, but none of the tips you provided
seem to work. Interestingly, Works 4 has the same Text
Wrapping options for its word processing program, and it
works perfectly! However the Works word processing option
is not available in Works 6 or 7, it only offers Word.
    I'm confused!

Re: Text Wrap in Word 2002

    Hi Peter,

It is a well kept Microsoft secret that there IS a word processor
for Works 5, 6 and 7. However it is not automatically added to
the Task Launcher, since it is anticipated that Word will be used !

If you search for the file WksWp.exe

    Create a shortcut for it.

Place the shortcut in those places you are likely to want to access it from.

You will have the Works word processor whenever you want it.
