remote install of office2k3 via GPO

Is it possible to remotely install office 2k3 SMALL BUSINESS via a gpo ?? We
use it here, but the install is telling me that administrative installations
are only possible in the enterprise version. I need to do an admin install
in order to get the files to the install point on the network.

Any ideas ?

Hi Harry,

It is true that only Enterprise media with volue license
keys are used for creating an Office Admin Point (Setup /a)
I don't know if you'd be able to use the local cache
feature in Office 2003 that allows you to create a transform
(.MST) with a retail copy of Office 2003.

and still use the GPO/Intellimirror feature remotely.

To qualify for a MS Volume License and Enterprise media
you only need to purchase five MS licenses (and they don't
all have to be Office/same product) when you sign up

Thanks. We are members of the eopen scheme with lots of 2000 licenses, but
we have been told that SBE isnt available on the eopen volume licensing
scheme.

Interesting. Small Business Edition (SBE) of Office 2000
and of Office 2003 are both retail packages. Office XP/2002
was the only time that SBE was an OEM only package.
and Office System SBE 2003 is listed as a volume license
package in the .doc file you can download from
