Microsoft Office 2010 / 2007 / 2003: Office 2003 License

    Office 2003 License

When I purchased Office XP Professional (regular retail version) I was
able to install it on two PCs (desktop & laptop).

Will the same be true for the Office 2003 Professional upgrade? 2 PCs?
If so, does it have to be a desktop & laptop or can it be any 2 PCs?

It can be any two, provided both are not used at the same time. In most
cases, this will be a laptop and a desktop...

Are you sure Diana? The EULA has been changed to allow installation on two

The last I looked it says "desktop and portable" - and at the moment, I have
a desktop that is more portable than a laptop...

The EULA intends you to use it on two machines that only you use and that
are not both used at the same time - this generally is a desktop and a
laptop. However, you could install it on your desktop and your spouse's
laptop and both use it at once (in violation of the EULA) or on two desktops
where you only use one copy at a time (in accordance with the EULA).
