How about http://wss.sharepointtips.com/ -- Search for various error
messages there and see if the WSS FAQ can help you out.

Thanks for the plug (!) but he's using SPS 2003, Dustin.

Maybe www.spsfaq.com might be better in his case ?

I know, but the problem is very likely similar. Remember SPS 2003 is built
    on WSS.

    Newbie

    Hi,
I signed up for Sharepoint Hosting with an internet provider.
I am using Office XP professional.
How can I configer for example Word to download and upload documents?
Do I need to download add-ons to make this work?

    Thx from a newbie

    Re: Newbie

OK. You are using Office XP Pro on your client running I suppose XP Pro as
    OS.

You need to make sure that Office XP Pro is set to be able to access
SharePoint stuff by running the Office Setup and going into the final Common
Office "things" settings part and making sure that one of the first settings
there is Sharepoint support X (i.e. on).

    That's about it you can Edit Word (say) documents with "Edit in MS Word";
download them by right-click and selecting download and upload them to the
WSS site by using the standard Upload Document menu itme in the WSS UI.

I presume by SharePoint you mean Windows SharePoint Services as you posted
    to this newsgroup.
