    Indenting

When I indent several items for a heading I might have
twenty days over the several items but the duration days
on the heading does not jive with the total amount of
days. This happens wether I use work days or elapsed
days. Can anyone give me an understanding of this issue?

    Thanks

    Re: Indenting

    Mike,
It doesn't matter how many levels of indention are present. The Duration
of a Summary line is always the difference in Project calendar days
(working days) between the Start date of the first subtask and the
Finish date of the last subtask.

    Hope this helps.

    Indenting

I understand the previous answer. What I do not
understand is how to get the summary duration days to
show consecutive days as I have used the "eday" (elapsed
day) switch to show consecutive days in the indented
    portions

    Thanks you for previous post

    Re: Indenting

I don't think that you can show the "eday" equivalent for a summary task.
You can use a custom field to display this though. Just put use a spare text
    field and use this formula:

    datediff("d",[Start],[Finish])
