IE7 and McAfee Virus Scan

I installed IE7 Beta Preview yesterday but it caused a major problem with my
McAfee Virus Scan(v10). When I tried to do a virus scan or open the Security
Center all I got was blank screens. I tried to uninstall and re-install and
again nothing but blank screens. I did a System Restore back to IE6(SP2) and
the McAfee worked fine again. Has anyone else had this problem and if so is
there a way to get IE7 and McAfee Anti Virus to work together?

Yes, having the same problem with McAfee Virus Scan update. The downloader is
fine, but the installer is a frozen blank screen.

McAfee support pages say thier software won't work with IE7B2. They plan to
update for the release candidate -- uninstalling the beta to update mcafee
took 5 minutes and didn't lose the favorites or RSS feeds... Minor pain but I
guess I'll be doing it for a while.

I too experience the same difficulties with a blank screen for McAfee virus
scan, but the Windows OneCare Live Beta seems to work quite well and is a
good fix or alternative.

The only way I found to fix this problem was to uninstall it. I contacted
McAfee and they said that their products would not be compatable untill the
full public release beta.

I had made a restore point but XP told me I could not restore to that point
and did not roll back?

Vscan looks to be working I just cant see any screen ? or do anything manul
I cant even uninstall Mcafee...my notebook with Nortons AV and IE7 works
fine just not Mcafee .
