Usability Experts are from Mars, Designers are from Venus.

Here's a quote that I quite liked:

"Space on the screen is just that: on the scree. Not in it. Not of it. Design
tools are mere control mechanisms perpetuating the illusion that internet space
is made up of pages, or words, of flat screens. Why is it design thinking
remains so brainwashed by this notion? The world of the internet is its own
perculiar galaxy, with its own constellations of information, its own orbits of
content. It is by no means flat." Helfand, J.

Good lord. How sad and pathetic is that? It actually gets worse as you dig
deeper.

I try to avoid poop brown as a background. As you enter the secondary
pages, the background changes as if it's been exposed to sunlight, kinda
like a cowpie.
They did want us to critique their work, didn't they?

While sitting in a puddle Leonard Blaisdell scribbled in the mud:

You spend way to much time out at the ranch.
