I wouldn't have without help from on-line friends who had similar
problems.
Then I highly recommend trying an elimination diet..
http://www.cfids.org/about-cfids/elimination-diet.asp
I quickly found, for example, that my sinus problems got much better
once I eliminated any foods that are mold-related (I have severe mold
allergies). Means no yeast breads, no soy sauce, no vinegar, no
fermented alcoholic drinks. While I very much miss
Chinese/Japanese/Thai food, I feel so much worse right after eating
them that I have a lot of incentive to be careful.
Also, you might want to go for allergy testing. Mold, dust mite and
pollen allergies are common, and there are things you can do to make
your life more comfortable.
Thanks for the kind words. So many people have helped me through all
this that I want to "pay it forward." The wonderful thing about the
internet is that it makes learnign such things so much easier than it
used to be.
The other things I find I use even without smoothies is frozen fruit.
It's usually good quality, often much less expensive than fresh
(especially in winter), don't go bad before I get around to eating
them, and provide an easy snack. I always have frozen pineapple and
frozen mango in the house - just put them out about an hour before I
want them or defrost in the microwave. I also use frozen berries when
cooking hot cereal. And I use them in smoothies and then don't use
any ice.

funny, mum used to be an allergy tester..and i recall all those vrious
tests - housedust mite, wheat, cat, etc
it is great that you have identified those foods that hurt your system.
exactly
i think the www is just the best thing since sliced bread. i have been
addicted for well over a decade.
In fact I sometimes worry that i don't do enough other things with my
life.
i was just talking to a friend the other night, and we were reflecting
that the net allows us to search for things that previously would have
been impossible eg we chatted about this after successfully finding the
name of a song to which one of us had recalled a line in the lyrics.
before the www, finding the name of the song would have been next to
impossible - ie no database would have been searchable in such a quick
way.
i haven't used any ice yet in mine
i have had pinepaplle slices once, a fgew weeks back
i have a smoothie here at the minute beside me - made of grapefruit
juice, blueberries, apple slices, grapes, amd strabwrries.......tastes
beautiful.

No, you just have to press the play button again later. The .wmv file
seems to be very slow loading, which is why it stops and you can't
forward or rewind it either. After the whole thing is loaded, that
works again too.

How long do you think it will take for the Wall Street Journal or
Forbes, both of which have "corporations can do no wrong" attitudes
towards tort lawsuits, to suggest that every reader look up
mesolithioma in a search engine, and click once on each Adsense ad?
Clicking the same link twice looks like click fraud. Clicking each
link once looks like comparison shopping.
Of course, with all those clicks, the price per click would go down.
And if they were worthless clicks, the price would REALLY go down....

"Sheeple"?
Is this a new term I am unfamiliar with? I assume you mean sheep-like
people in the sense I often refer to the great unwashed as "sheep" ?
Is the term sheeple in general use, or have you just invented it?
In any event, I'm taking it on!
Matt
