Both my son and I have been under the weather, even more than usual,
plus life's been hectic. I'm trying to find a part-time job that
won't be too exhausting (I have fibromyalgia/ME) - my ex is broke, so
the child support's gone away :-(

I have never had any energy - always totally tired and have to lie down,
esp after eating food....been that way all my life. Fiends and family
probably reckon, i imagine, that i am a lazy bugger.

Although I meet criteria for fibromyalgia, my main symptoms are those
of ME/CFIDS (chronic fatigue syndrome) However, it was easier to get
the fibro diagnosis. Until that was official, I felt like doctors saw
me as "neurotic middle-aged woman."
That's how I am. The worst part is that exercise wipes me out for a
day or two. I have a friend I walk with Sunday mornings. I really
look forward to our visits each week, but I'm on the couch the rest of
the day.
I'm hoping I can find a 10-15 hour/week job that will provide me with
some steady cash, and isn't physically or mentally demanding. My
consulting pays a better hourly rate than anything I'm likely to find,
but it's not steady work and I can't do it when I'm at my worst and
the brain fog's bad.
