Sorry chums, I'm getting a "line too long" error in the other thread, so I
have had to make this one to post my reply.

Let us know when you do it. Why are you doing it? Don't tell me, you are
finally getting the hint??
Quick-loading functional sites for the mobile user not your target?
Obvious. Pretty much that's what I have been going on about!
Don't forget, quicker sites on the laptop are quicker everywhere else too!
Still shy on the URLs??

Never seen it, and to be honest, I didn't read all your post.
Here's the crucial difference. Your clients are not surfers buying from
your site, mine are.
Your business is about giving clients what *they* want, what *you* want, but
with scant regard for what the poor punter/surfer wants.
If you fancy a real education to go with your certificates, try talking to
surfers, instead of telling your clients what their visitors should be
getting served up.

AAARGGHH!!!
I need to make replies to this original thread, but my reader OE (yes I
know) won't let me!
In short:
To Grey: disagree, agree.
To Dylan: agree.
To SpaceGirl: disagree, disagree, disagree, disagree. You didn't notice, I
used "flash" or "flashy" with small "f"s. I use capital "F"s when I'm
talking about the Macromedia product.

True... sort of. I've only done one retail site, but that's down right now.
Here's one of my url: www.kwik-fitfleet.com. Sadly my design was compromised
since I left the project, but the basics are there. My play site:
www.subhuman.net, dhnewmedia.com. other sites www.ford.co.uk,
www.axa-direct.co.uk.

Time to switch? I used to use OE, and it ended up pissing me off one time

Go with Thunderbird. It's mail management system setup is very similar to
OE. I'm using Opera's M2 myself, but it uses a system of "filters" to
replace the concept of folders which isn't easy to get a handle on at
first glance. For instance, a single email can be in half a dozen "views"
at once depending on it's qualities.
Fair enough... now what the hell did I write! LOL

LOL!
I might just try that Thunderbird. I'm like your average user. I use
what's in front of me until it becomes unbearable!
