- Looking For Reseller Host
- Posted by BenignVanilla on February 27th, 2004
I am growing ever-frustrated with my current reseller host, so I am ready to
move my customers over. Can anyone recommend, from personal experience, a
hosting reseller that offers:
Windows Servers
MS SQL Server Support
Total/Complete Branding
At least a 1GB of disk space
H-Sphere Support
phpBB or equivelant
webalizer or equivelant
Any recommendations would be appreciated. I have about 30-35 sites, I am
going to need to move.

Have you considered asking PSC for a list of their customers - that would
help narrow the field. There are other management interfaces.
Budget? - what are you currently paying?
Monthly transfer? average and max monthly over the last 12 months.
Your current host seems to be fully featured - what's the problem?
Branding can be an issue - it was 10 seconds work to find your host. It's
impossible to have complete control unless you are a member of Arin (or Ripe
or Apnic) and have your own nameservers - even then it's better if you have
your own noc.
Sorry - can't help you with that lot - I don't run php on any Windows
platform - looking at it, but not yet available.

Not sure about the h-sphere support, you'd have to ask them.

I second the Page-Zone suggestion. Why do you need Windows if you
also need PHP? You can use MySQL just the same as MS SQL, even
connect to it with MS Access over the Internet the same way. Windows
hosts will be MUCH more expensive because of the overhead of Windows
licenses.
Just my two cents...
