- Jibber Webmaster Community
- Posted by JRayers on January 20th, 2006
Hi All,
I'm posting today to notify you of relatively new community created for
Netrepreneurs (Internet Entrepreneurs) and Webmasters. The community
goes by the name of <a href="http://www.jibber.net">Jibber</a> and
having been in development for some weeks, was finally launched on
Boxing Day.
We are aiming to become one of the foremost community resources on the
web for Netrepreneurs and their websites, and we already have plans in
place for several exciting and previously unseen features. We have
already built a small but experienced and friendly user base ready to
give you all the tips and answers you need for anything related to
website development, like domain names, business web hosting, web
design and how to make good money.
If you fall into the category of webmaster or internet entrepreneur
then I'd highly recommend at least taking a look, and perhaps even <a
href-"http://www.jibber.net/profile.php?mode=register">registering</a>.
Even if you don't fall into the category we'd love for you take a look
and we'd hope that the community might even encourage you to enter into
the development game.
Thanks very much for your time and we really hope to see some of you
over at Jibber - <a

Kind Regards,

Netrepreneur Forum

Fleeing from the madness of the http://groups.google.com jungle
JRayers <jrayers@gmail.com> stumbled into news:alt.www.webmaster
and said:
How do you do?
You created a community? cracking news.
First tip: this is usenet. The ersatz interface that you are using may
give you the impression that this is a web based forum but do be assured,
the web is a poor substitute for the real thing.
Astonishing - you built a community in "some weeks"? hosing/planning
officials from all over the world will be beating a path to your door in
droves.
Just a thought - how would the admins of such fora feel about the denizens
of AWW making hit and run posts enticing folk to visit usenet?
Oh well - toodle-pip.

Hello.
Why not call them entrepreneurs?
Your URL doesnt work - am I right in assuming your site no longer exists
then?
See, you call it "Netrepreneur" and now its back to "internet entrepreneur."
Do you agree with me that internet entrepreneur is actually better than the
horrific creation that is "netrepreneur."
I would highly recommend taking a look at what USENET is and how to post
URLs.
I would have loved to take a look but all I got was 404. Oh well.
I suppose it is always possible.

Quite a good idea - and tempting :-)
