- I'm overwhelmed by CMS choices.. help!
- Posted by galleywench@musicalfurnishings.com on March 13th, 2006
I am needing help setting up a membership website that creates revenue
from some sort of online subscription management software. It will be a
relatively basic daily blog with group collaboration by the subscribing
members.
How easy can this be done? I am having a hard time finding anything
about how to setup the subscription commmerce part.
VisionGate say all the right things, but I cannot find others talking
about them. I would like for the software to have some popular support.

Am I only dreaming that this could be relatively easy to setup? I see
daily blogs that are most of what I want....
Thanks!

a CMS just to manage subscriptions or do you need it for the entire
site?

Tor;
I don't have a quick answer for you but, I've gotten good advice on
stuff like this from the people at http://www.opensourcecms.com/.
Additionally, you can test-drive the cms installs.
let us know what you decide,

He needs an entire site. They would be subscribing to access any or
part of the site.

I went there, to opensourcecms, but there are so many, I didn't even
know where to start looking. I need to narrow it down a bit.
