Google Site Inclusion
Posted by Guil@drace.ca on January 13th, 2006

Hello to all,

Usually I have trouble getting indexed with Yahoo, but this time it
seems Google is giving me a hard time.

I have the site http://www.partsearch.us/ but Google only indexed 1
page , while Yahoo got more of them....

Is there anything I can do to help? I already use Sitemaps (google) and
submitted my site to Google.

Thanks

Guil.

How do you do?

have noticed of late that google spiders don't thrive if the diet is too
rich - try a little text salad to go with all those meaty links.

Thats ok, because you have nothing to index.

You have a logo/header, a google search box, a google ad box... and then the
rest of the site is just the same content over and over again with a few
part numbers changed

If you are trying to do some kind of keyword stuffing and building a site
that gets #1 with all the search engines you are kind of doing it wrong in
that your site lacks any other content or linked to anything that it can
sell or get commisions off of (other than the ad words).

If you've got your Google Sitemap accepted and your site verified,
you've done the most you can to beg for indexing. Make sure your
..htaccess and meta=robots headers aren't blocking the bot server.
Content doesn't seem to be an issue as long as you're not devious. They
pick up on that pretty quick

What's going on at Google is most interesting. They seem to be going
back to the root of social-networking and definately have ODP envy.
