The China firewall

I have may share of junk traffic from China, so I've been intrigued by the
idea of trying to get banned by 'The Great Firewall of China'. I've been
considering to show a special page for chinese visitors with some of the
known banned words (Democracy, Christian, ...) or even full articles on
the subjects, but then I came of think of the economical development in
China and the possibility of today's pirates and junk visitors becomming
tomorrow's customers, so now I don't know....

I figure the chances are Real Darn Good that the spam-lists are not
connected to the banned-lists and you'd still get the spam. Good
luck.

Yeah, they don't filter the spam coming TO us, but they're glad to filter
the traffic coming in.
That alone makes it worthwhile to reject their traffic.

Giggle. I live in the pacific northwest. I never leave my shoes on the
porch lest a slug crawl up inside. Have you ever stepped on a slug with
your bare feet? It mushes up between your toes and takes weeks to scrape
the goo off.

Had breakfast yet?

And lo, TechnoHippie didst speak in alt.www.webmaster:

I once started to put on a rubber boot and could not fit my foot in. I
took it off, turned it upside-down and a ~10cm toad fell out. He was a
big sucker, and luckily I had not forced my foot in so he was still fine.
I put him in the garden.

I have some great toad + lawnmower stories to tell first!
