Best of Show - Internet World Conference
Posted by T Allan B. on February 20th, 2004

Hi,

I am evaluating a web "lease" solution. It's from the University of
Central Florida's Technology Incubator program and recently won "Best
of Show" at Internet World Conference for e-commerce.

It's for a small to mid-size business with little or no technical staff
to be able to manage and update a website easily and affordably.
Basically, if you can use MS Word, you can operate your site. There's
no software to download; it works thru the Internet Explorer browser.

I am attempting to make "live" changes based on visitor feedback.

Take a look if you would and let me know what you think:

No you're not - you're selling it. Please don't attempt to mislead the good
folk in this group. It makes your products appear to be second rate snake
oil.

Thank you for your comments.

You can tell that I'm new at the newsgroups, I guess.

Yesterday was my first "effort" and I was eager to see if Anyone would respond.

I am evaluating the solution for my own harmonica instructional
products. I've been selling these on the web for the past three years
using PayPal and Overture with limited success. After selling about 800
packages worldwide, it really was just a break-even, hobby business. I
am finishing up a new version of the product which will have much
broader appeal I think and I was looking for a better web solution than
the one I had crafted from html over the last several years.

When I discovered DigiBuildIt I had to try it out and so far, I am very
impressed. My site will be up soon and I hope it is successful. If you
want to look at it, ok but please don't attempt to actually make a
purchase because the product is still in beta testing.

As for selling the Digibuildit solution, yes there is a financial
reward for recommending the product and if it turns out to be a good
solution for others, why not. At this point though, I'm not listing any
signature with my referral code, I really do want feedback. If all is
well, I'll take your advice and post to more appropriate groups for
selling.

thanks again,

While sitting in a puddle T Allan B. scribbled in the mud:

You will usually get a response here. Maybe not the kind you expected but
at least you can learn & have a bit of fun too.
