I have been using Premier elements which I love and I thinking of buying
premier pro 1.5.
is it worth the leap ?

Wrong group, but to answer your question (assuming you mean Premiere
and not Photoshop...), It depends on what you want or need to do, the
learning curve shouldn't be that steep as elements is a cut down Pro
but if you are only cutting out bad bits and adding music and titles
to home movies then Pro could well be over kill.
Why not download the Pro demo version and give it a try?
