.co.uk domain registrar
Posted by Alan JF on September 10th, 2003

Hi, I have a domain registered with get-your.co.uk, which gives me a
web/mail redirect. But, I would like to move it to a registrar that
allows do the following.

My requirements:

- Being able to change DNS A, MX and CNAME records via a web based
interface of some sort.
- Reliable.
- Good support if needed.
- Fairly cheap (only a family site).
- Able to register .co.uk domains.
- Fairly easy to move a domain from my current registrar.

I've looked at a few but have not found exactly what I've been looking
for, hopefully i can get some good advice here.

Thanks in advance,
Alan

If it's just domain hosting you want (not web hosting), then I'd
recommend 123reg. They're great for just domains, and very
cheap. Full DNS control.

They look good, It'll be either them or xreg.co.uk which I go with.
Funnily enough, reg-123.co.uk and get-your.co.uk both seem to be owned
by the same mother company, yet get-your.co.uk is overpriced and lacking
features. Now all I have to do is get them to surrender the domain,
their support seems non-existant...

How much is a .org.uk domain from them? I had a quick look around their site
but cant find any prices without registration which I cant be arsed with.
