- 1&1 and form CGI
- Posted by Tim Miller on January 26th, 2006
I'm looking to put a basic form on a website I've got hosted with 1&1.
I can only find details from them for pre-made forms (using tinc) which
look ugly and out of place on the website.
Does anyone have any experience with using user-created CGI forms on 1&1
webspace?

I've never come across a hosting company which doesn't include a basic
form CGI script ... very annoying.

According to their website at
http://order.1and1.co.uk/xml/order/HostingOverview
1&1 Home has PHP3, 4 & 5, Perl & Free CGI's
Try putting uploading a test.php file with just
<?php
phpinfo();
?>
And see what happens....

1&1 is pretty crap both in the services they provide and in their way
