- problems publishing my site
- Posted by Victoria on April 26th, 2005
I'm trying to upload my site to ftp not http. I'm using Pub 2003. Is this
possible??
I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing with publisher, as with previous sites I
have used html. I've also tried to use the html code created by publisher but
this doesn't work and so I am wondering if there is a proper and simpler way
for me to do this.
I have the domain and website, just can't put the two together!!! grrrr!
Any help much appreciated.

Hi, I use Publisher also, I save the website, then I "Publish to Web...".
When I publish I publish to ftp: I then go into public file and save as the
index.htm page. When it asks if I want to replace existing I say yes, then
it publishes. Hope this is helpful, I am an ameteur at this and am working
to get mine on also. I do have an existing website created with publisher.
