- design's fonts and web's fonts are not similar

I'm trying to make a non profitable website for a minorities nepalese in Hong
Kong, and this is about nepali language ( preeti font ) literary website. I
got a problem with it's font and it's look. in the design page, my everything
looks good and perfect but when it publishes on web, the font gets stretched
which shouldnot be like that in nepali language. I'm thinking it's because of
the encoding or selections of default font, coz, I'm even putting some
english fonts too.
I hope, anybody can help me outa this.

What version of Publisher?
What font?
At what size?
What browser?
What encoding?
