Google Analytics problems?
Posted by Big Bill on December 6th, 2005

I have this set up on two sites and on both this morning it seems to
have ceased to function, registering no visits on either. Always
possible, of course, but I'd prefer to think it's a glitch at their
end! Anyone else seeing anything?

Mine's working OK

Do you mean that it has shown stats in the past, but has now wiped them?

I find that the updates each day are done by US time, so today I have a
quarter of the stats for Monday, and tomorrow I'll see the rest of the
monday stats, then the first quarter of Tuesdays

No I mean that my visitor count on both sites has dropped to zero at
the same time according to my Analytics stats. Not very likely and in
direct contradiction to the other stats I run on my main site.

My count is OK this morning. The visits have gradually increased over
the last 24 hours but I'm sure the update was usually all in one
before. Perhaps it was just a problem with me getting out of bed too
early!

No, there was a definite point when they both simply ceased to
function and read zero. They're both fine again now (reading two and
three respectively - sigh).
