- Which Engines List Your Site

I know there's a way of finding how many other pages link to yours,
such as on Google.
Is there a way of checking to see which search engines list your site?

I think the LINK: keyword works at Yahoo, AV, and MSN, doesn't it?

You can check it here, but you have to enter some key words relevant to
site content, it offers instant, online reports of web site rankings in
7 top search engines

If you are asking if there is a way to know without visiting each search
engine and checking, I beleive there isn't a way. Maybe a tool out there
already does this, I haven't checked.

If you have a link to your site from a site that is listed in Google,
Yahoo, and Masn (for example) then those search engine spiders will
follow that link to find your site. So I would say you could get a
general idea based on what search engines the sites, sharing a link
your way, are listed in then what other places those search engines
help supply results for (Ex. currently Google supplies AOL their
results - Yahoo owns/supplies results for Inktomi, AllTheWeb, and
etc.).
