- Is my site banned?
- Posted by CraDanKa@gmail.com on March 18th, 2006
Hi,
I am trying to find out why my website: http://www.horsesrus.net is not
coming up on Google under certain keywords?
I can't find the site anywhere on google after hours of searching under
Horse Chat or Horse Forum, but the members.optusnet.com.au one is.
Can you give me an indication on why the site isn't coming up within
the first 300+ pages? The site has been up for a good year + and
GoogleBot is coming in the site alot. With googlebot visiting the site
regularly, I would expect it to cache some of the forum posts aswell?
Thanks,
Craig

You're not banned. See
http://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Awww.horsesrus.net
Your biggest worry should be if or when Toys-R-Us notices your
existence. See

Good luck!

Craig,
I just took a quick look at your site and you appear to have the same
problem that has been reported to Google over the last 2 weeks. Your
symptoms are that only your HOME page is currently indexed and the rest
of the pages listed using the site command are Supplemental results.
Google is currently going through a major update called Big Daddy and
it has been rolled out to about 2/3 of all the Google data centers.
This problem is only on these updated centers and traffic has been
significantly reduced on sites that are experiencing this.
Write to Google at the following email address - sesnyc06 [at]
gmail.com . Use the subject title "StillSupplemental". In the email
list your website and indicate that it is still only showing HOME page
with other results as supplemental.
This procedure was written up in WebMasterWorld.com and recommended by
GoogleGuy (Google employee). Google engineering is actively seeking
feedback on this problem and perhaps they can help you.

Your site isn't in Google or Yahoo! That means there are no links from
other websites that point to your site. Links are vital to your site's
performance in the search engines. Without at least one link from a
well-ranked web page, your site will not be included in the search
engines. Do a search on "link building" and you'll find many ways of
getting links to your site. Good luck!

My biggest problem at the moment now is doing the search for: "Horse
Chat and Horse Forums" doesn't bring up horsesrus.net
Is there any other email address or method to get listed on google? I
know it's been cached... but this is ridiculous when I can't even find
on the first page the title to my site.
