- Javascript Tool
- Posted by Poppy on March 28th, 2006
If a tool contains the word "javascript" in it and the tool is put on
the website's template: does that cause a problem for spiders --can
Google still read/crawl the website? Or does that word/that tool
interfer with crawling?
Immediately after starting my website my readership was rather high, I
thought, and more readers daily; each week-end more than the previous.
But about two weeks ago: it dropped off, major. The only thing
different: "javascript" added.
Google's info says it could be two more months until my website gets
crawled to be Ranked, so is the tool making it difficult for Google.bot
to read the pages, and therefore will cause my Ranking to be low?
Should the little tool be removed?
Is there some other known reason readership dropped off?
Last night I put a link to my sitemap on the Home page and, without
posting anything new, today so far: lots of readership, but nothing
like it was. Answers? Thanks.
