- Google doesn't index my website
- Posted by Oliver on March 9th, 2006
Hello everybody,
I have a problem with google (once again). After Google somehow deleted
my website from the index (but there are still 900 links indexed, even
thought the website doesn't exist since 3 months anymore), I redid
everything again and made a new website on a new domain.
This is now more then 2 months ago. I have submitted the URL to Google
and as I was not sure whether it worked, I submitted it again (once).
But google has yet to index the page. There seems to be no way I can
get indexxed by google at all.
The funny thing is that I am client of Google with this new website on
Adwords, since it is my business and my existence. I pay every month
around 100$ for this and google shows the links to exactly this website
that it doesn't want to add in its index.
Is there anything I can do? I used to be PR4 and first on my keywords
with my old page, one day I was suddenly only indexed with the URL and
this didn't change anymore. I have a new Domain, new Website, new
content and Google doesn't want to index it. Since 8 months I am now
"ungoogled" and seem to be unable to change anyhting about it.
Hoping for tips and tricks.
Thanks in advance,
Oliver

P.S. the new Domain is www.oliveroettli.ch

I am in exactly the same boat with JRSystems; www.jrsystems.co.uk .
I think it was due to dividing the site into 2 sections (DJ & AV) using
session variables, which google couldn't hold and therefore lost all
content on the pages.
I have now added a site map though which is a direct link to all
products and am hoping that this will make a difference.
How often does google re-index roughly?
Cheers
Rob

www.oliveroettli.ch is not indexed as there are only 2 links to it -
you just need more. Submitting to google will make no difference.
www.jrsystems.co.uk is indexed.

I have two sites, both of which just dont seem to be getting indexed.
Google has visited one of them, but although it appears to have been
visited on the 10th March, I still can find no reference anywhere in
the searches to the site or its content, which is quite specific in
topic. I have a sitemap file now, but cannot fully understand what
Google does - some say it crawls every few seconds, others say it
crawls monthly or even less - what it the real answer?!!!! I keep
submitting the URL, but nothing ever seems to happen.. I work on the
site daily - adding keywords, content, links, text, all sorts.. Is it
anything to do with the fact that this site is not a .com, but a
subdomain??? See below:
