Hi,

Gamil probably fails about 50% of the time which is extremely annoying
particularly as there is no recovery possible other than message by
message forwarding and archiving myself.

When it fails I typically get a message like:

This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

dsareis@xxxberone.com.au

Technical details of permanent failure:

PERM_FAILURE: SMTP Error (state 9): 550 Denied. Host (64.233.184.195)
listed in RBL

A ping -a of the ip address shows this is "wproxy.gmail.com". Is this
gmail or my ISP complaining and what is an RBL.

FYI

Well a bit more research indicates that gmail has been blacklisted,
they are either not doing anything about this and ignoring my problem
reports or are so busy doing so they haven't got time to respond.

I assume its also a secret as there is no announcement of any type...
This is the sort of behaviour I really hate...
