- DMOZ - get your act together

'And your evidence for that is?'
this forum (maybe you should read it one day) - the internet -
statements from former and current dmoz editors - books - court records
- i could go on and on.
The problem you have seo101 is that for whatever reason your life has
been screwed up. So you try to screw it up the lives of successful and
honest business owners by manipulating search results. You have been
exposed as a cheat and a liar. I suggest you get off-line, stay
off-line - and GET A LIFE!

I am a DMOZ editor however i will not reveal my DMOZ category as
firstly i don't want the legal facists at www.silverstall.com sueing me
and secondly i do not wish to jepordise my editors post.
I found Bob's remarks deeply offensive and abusive. How dare he insult
a DMOZ editor. Is Bob stupid and niave enough to beleive that we all
work for nothing!! Its not our fault if Google are to tightass to pay
us. Of course we get commissions for SEO work and yes we do list our
clients sites - why not? we did the work!
I work damn hard and i am not stupid enough to do it for nothin. If a
company wants to pay me to change a / or put in a 'a' on a listed
site, thats there concern - not mine. Its no secret that editors get
paid for listing sites - what do you expect!!! theres an ol saying ..
'you get ought for nought' . wise up Bob i think its maybe you who
should get a life.

As with every DMOZ editor you hide behind a veil of secrecy. You see
thats the problem for site owners. we have a web-site where you can
track us down. We have shops whose windows you can smash. We have staff
who you can racially abuse. We have google ad-word campaigns upon which
you can repeatedly click. Yes we are vunerable however we will no
longer sit back and be bullied by the corrupt regime of DMOZ. Yes we
have a team of lawyers but they are not facist. The laws made to
protect us from scum like you were made in a democracy. The laws were
made to protect the weak, the disabled, the young and the vunerable. In
some respects we have a perverse respect for your honesty - or is it an
arrogant claim that DMOZ has become so big no-one can touch us now.

Google is fond of saying that it wants to be fair and list by merit.
I hope it takes notice of that comment.

anyone notice that the DMOZ bashers are are not cabable of rational
discussion and are so week that they have to resort to name calling? I
guess that says it all
How many times have I asked for evidence to support these silly claims.
Anyone notice that not once has anyone came back with any. I guess
that says it all
This kind of DMOZ bashing has been going on for years and years and
Google keeps using DMOZ despite it. I guess that says it all
Simply, if you are unhappy with the service provided by DMOZ ask for a
refund.

What a load of rubbish. The anonymous jabberings of some idiot who's
probably just Silverstall with another login. And this proves what
exactly?
This one had me tittering into my coffee. What a load of groundless
twaddle. I've heard this kind bombastic bluster more times that I can
remember over the last 10 years. It's the same as it always was, the
inadequate splutterings of some spamming webmaster who's upset that
their nth template clone site hasn't made it into the directory within
a day of submission. Well boo hoo, go get a life and pedal your drivel
elsewhere.
It's just laughable. Well it would be if I hadn't heard it all a
hundred times before.

We had nothing to do with this message or the previous message which
provoked it. You fail to substantiate this statement. You do not offer
any evidence, proof or reason to corrobrate this absurd suggestion.
You are the one talking absolute rubbish.
As for legal issues we are unable to comment further however if you
feel confident that there is some substance to your message then you
will have no problem in contacting us with your true identity or
address. Somehow we doubt that we will hear from you.
