- Dates!
- Posted by fardarkle@aol.com on March 25th, 2006
Maybe there's a way around this I haven't discovered, but to me the
biggest drawback of Google is that there are no dates on articles that
come up in searches. If I look for "cure for cancer" I have no way of
knowing, ofttimes, whether the top article reference was written last
month or three years ago. Sometimes the article itself is dated, but
not always. Is there not some way to I.D. search results in order of
recency?
Thanks.

Anyway, using the Advanced Search, you can select "3 months", "6
months", or "year" to filter the results a little bit.

Yes, exactly. Is that from God or Nature...or is it a flaw in Google?

That's the way things are. Yahoo! and MSN don't show dates either.
Google and MSN show dates for some of the cached pages.
