I am trying to aquire all the registered businesses in the U.S. that
are legitamate active bussinesses. Everyone from plumbers to
electricians , lawyers to accountants , dentists to carpet installers.
Litterally every business. Is there a public data base that anyone
knows of via by state or federal, I only find mailing lists that you
can buy for to much $. Any help would be fantastic. If you have info

You're not going to find something like that for free.

If I want the name of every hospital in the U.S. I can get that very
easy. If your a registered business in the U.S. and have a tax ID #,
which I don't want or need by the way, why are some businesses so easy
to find and others so difficult ? Tim

Some businesses just aren't as built up as the others and can be like
searching for a needle in a haystack.
