I just can't figure out how Google lists the backlinks for my website.
I know so many pages that list my site as a link and yet google only
shows about 18 (it seems to change ever day). For example, the pages in
my site link to other pages on my site and even these don't show up
under backlinks. I have had links for over 6 mos and it just doesnt
seem like Google ever adds new ones to my backlinks report. Some days
google will show 4 backlinks and then 18, then back to 10. Its all over
the place but never adds new backlinks. Any advice? I have exhausted
other routes to getting a higher google ranking for my 2yr old site and
links seems to be the general thing I need. searching for my keywords
in google will bring up 100 unrelated sites before my own and i just

Its not a problem.

Google only ever showed a small random sample of backlinks to a site
and never close to them all.What is in this sample has nothing to do
with what Google actually know about and what they use in the rankings.
