I live in NYC and am constantly using google maps to find places to
eat, shop, drink etc.. I constantly switch back and forth bewtween
MTA's site and the map to find the closest subway stop. It would be
AWESOME if you had the option to turn on Mass Transit hubs for city
maps...

I agree I live in the Washington DC area and would like to have metro
added to maps

I realize there's a priority list regarding the implementation of
requests, but this one should be ushered to the top-o-the-list. It's
one of those things everyone wants to use (especially since peeps can
now get Google Map dirs via their cells). Would be bomber to have at
least Metro stops in there if not show the entire lines since in DC at
least, they are color coated and this is how everyone gets around. But
we could just have coloured stops to keep them straight for the beta
version. Most importantly, I recommend you start with DC since it's a
smaller network and see if it takes, work out the kinks and then tackle
the Big Apple, et al. if DC works. Give the people what they want!
